Grizzly Bears

Grizzly bears - the species I have worked the hardest to capture. For a few years, a weird phenomenon occurred that I named "The Curse of the Grizzly." It seemed no matter how much location research I did and how many sunrises I chased, I couldn't get a good photographable moment with a grizzly bear. At the same time, I had had an abnormal amount of encounters with grizzlies in the backcountry, where I would prefer to keep some distance between myself and these powerful creatures.
